Tailwind Airlines Expands Fleet: Receives New Boeing B737-800 Aircraft
Tailwind Airlines is set to enhance its fleet during the busy summer season with the addition of two Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The new planes have been registered as TC-TLI and TC-TLJ, and are configured to accommodate 189 passengers each. These aircraft deliveries aim to increase the service quality and passenger capacity of Tailwind Airlines.
Currently, the TC-TLI aircraft is located at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and will operate a flight to Antalya tomorrow. The other aircraft, TC-TLJ, is scheduled to be delivered within this week. These new planes are regarded as a significant step for Tailwind Airlines in expanding their routes and meeting passenger demands.
Burçak Kaya, the Commercial Manager of Tailwind Airlines, stated, “We have had a successful season so far, and our hectic pace continues. We are delighted with the new aircraft we have received. These new planes will be based in Antalya and will mainly serve destinations in Germany, Central, and Eastern Europe.”
Kaya also mentioned that there are expectations and projects for additional new aircraft.
