Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport starts direct flights to Paris-Orly Airport. Transavia flight, operated with a Boeing B737-800 type aircraft, arrived in Izmir with 142 passengers. The passengers were welcomed with flowers and mutual flights will be carried out until October 28, 2023, on Saturdays and Sundays.
Erkan Balcı, the General Manager of TAV Ege, said, “We are very happy to welcome the first direct flight from Paris-Orly Airport to Izmir in five years. We are working with our stakeholders with all our power to connect Izmir to the world with direct flights.”
In the first three months of the year, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport served 1,942,518 passengers and flights are organized to 39 destinations in 22 countries with 19 airlines in international flights and to 20 destinations in domestic flights with four airlines.
