Yılın en büyük kazası, Ocak 2017’de Kırgızistan‘da gerçekleşti. Kırgızistan’ın başkenti Bişkek’te, ACT Airlines‘e ait Boeing 747 kargo uçağı piste inemedi havalimanına yakın bir kasabada kırıma uğradı. 35 vatandaşın ve dört mürettebatın hayatını kaybettiği kaza 2017 yılının en büyük kazası oldu.

Rapor, yolcu bagajındaki elektronik cihazların büyüyen potansiyel bir tehlike teşkil ettiğini belirtti.

Elektronikte lityum-iyon pillerin kullanımı arttığı oranda uçakta yangın riski oluşturuyor. Çünkü bu tür piller sebebiyle yangın çıkarsa söndürmek zordur.
