Antalya Sets New Record with Tourist Arrivals and Flights
Antalya Governor Ersin Yazıcı announced that a new record was broken on June 17, Saturday, with 86,278 foreign tourists and 1,081 aircraft arriving in the city.
Antalya, among the world’s top tourist destinations, has regained its pre-pandemic tourist numbers with its 640-kilometer coastline and accommodation facilities known for their service quality.
The city, which has reached the highest numbers of tourists since 2019, is also breaking new records.

Antalya Governor Ersin Yazıcı expressed his satisfaction with the positive numbers in terms of tourist arrivals, stating, “We broke a record on June 17. I think it is promising for our nation.
On June 17, we had 86,278 foreign passenger arrivals at our airports. We also set a record with 1,081 aircraft landings and takeoffs on the same day. The total number of domestic and foreign passengers arriving and departing on that day was 187,968. We continue to provide services to both foreigners and locals without any disruptions.”
Total number of foreign tourists reached 4,695,464
Governor Ersin Yazıcı stated that there has been a 33% increase in the total number of tourists between January 1 and June 19 this year compared to the same period last year, with a total of 4,695,464 foreign tourists.
In Antalya, the number of tourists arriving from January 1 to June 19 this year increased by 1,153,000 compared to the same period last year.
