As the Senior Sales Support Agent, you will be responsible for effectively supporting the sales force to achieve and maximise the revenue targets ensuring the commercial success of the airline in the areas of responsibility. You will also create maximum awareness of QRs products and services.
Accountabilities:
- Provide maximum technical support to the Sales Force to ensure increased awareness of QR’s products/services-reporting-analyzes QR report sources to ensure that potential threats are identified in a timely manner
- Keeps track of market practices and changes in the market
- Process all sales support functions related to Leisure and Corporate accounts. Provide corporate leads to Sales Executive by researching through web, flight checks, news on media, etc.
- Fully usage of all Sales Automated systems to follow up the target revenue vs. actual, reporting, pricing and schedule checks
- Liaise with Sales Executive, Sales Manager and Business Performance Officer for any threats, improvements, new opportunities, leads, in order to improve the revenue.
- Provides support in organization of events and trade fairs, represents QR at such functions
- Assist with all indoor sales related matters in coordination with the sales and reservations departments in communication with the Sales Manager in order to increase our trade portfolio and our revenue
- Liaise with Sales Manager in all Leisure and Corporate sales related matters keeping the Sales Executive informed. Communicate all relevant matters to Reservations/Sales/Airport departments ensuring maximum cooperation
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, through telephone calls and email identifying new business opportunities, promoting Qbiz and CUG to new potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary or trade qualification bachelors’ degree or equivalent, preferred. You will have minimum 1 years of job related experience, preferably within tourism industry or within an airline. You will know of Amadeus and fares and have very good knowledge of word, excel and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
