Alp Er Tunga Ersoy Bids Farewell to TAV Airports

General Manager of Almaty International Airport, Alp Er Tunga Ersoy, has announced his departure from TAV Airports after 24 years of service.

Ersoy, who has held significant roles across Turkey, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Kazakhstan during his 24-year career, shared his heartfelt gratitude and reflections on his tenure.

He stated:

“After spending half of my life working in key roles at TAV Airports across 4 countries, it is incredibly difficult to say goodbye. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Sani Şener and Mr. Serkan Kaptan for their unwavering support and trust, as well as to all my managers, colleagues, and coworkers for their cooperation, support, and friendship. Thanks to TAV, I have made countless friends in Turkey, Georgia, North Macedonia, and Kazakhstan. The friendships and connections I have made will always hold a special place in my heart. I am profoundly thankful for everything TAV has given me.”

Following this departure, Ersoy will take on his new role at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Expressing his sincere gratitude to the management of MHAB and ISG for their trust and warm welcome, Ersoy voiced his confidence in overcoming any challenges that may arise in his new position.

Hello everyone. My name is Mehmet Kali. In the industry, I am known as "Kali". I graduated from the first civil aviation training school in Turkey, which was known as the Civil Aviation School at the time and is now Eskişehir Technical University, in 1991. For three years, I taught courses on air cargo at Nişantaşı University. I still hold valid IATA certifications related to both passenger and cargo operations. For over ten years, I have been managing aeroportist.com, a news website related to aviation, which initially started as a hobby. I enjoy building aviation networks and sharing knowledge.
